Reaction to HMICFRS Inspection report, Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service

Norfolk Liberal Democrats Group Leader, Ed Maxfield said -

"Giving our fire crews the right support is literally a matter of life and death. This report contains some important warnings for the fire service management team that must be heeded. But there is a warning for the politicians too. We know the impact of cuts on market town stations like Fakenham, Diss, Wymondham and Cromer. The Conservative administration must make sure the fire service gets the resources it needs to protect people across the county".

Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) has inspected Fire and Rescue Services across England for the first time. The report covering Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service can be seen on the HIMCFRS website here
