Chris and team meet Wymondham residents
South Norfolk Parliamentary candidate Chris Brown and local Liberal Democrat councillors braved the showers on Saturday to knock on doors and chat to Wymondham residents about the forthcoming General Election on 4th July.
Chris and team met Wymondham residents on the campaign trail to find out what their concerns are and the message coming through loud and clear was that voters are fed up the Conservative government and are eager for change.
Chris said “I’m a local candidate and know the area well. I have been a District councillor for the past five years and lived in South Norfolk for ten years. I think I can make a difference to the people here and properly represent residents in a way they haven’t had in a long time.”
Chris added that the NHS and health care was a major concern for many people as was lack of infrastructure for a growing town such as Wymondham.
The team also met with Arnie McConnell who is the lead at the Wymondham Community Outreach Project to see how the charity supports vulnerable residents locally.
Campaigning alongside Chris were Cllrs Bob McClenning, Jim Webber, Dave Roberts, Carmina McConnell, Suzanne Nuri-Nixon and Steve Witt who is also standing for election in Central Wymondham ward in a Town council by-election.
